The focus of my research is self-regulated learning, strategy use, and the pedagogical development of such learning activities. I examine these processes in relation with important factors such as motivation, self-efficacy, self-initiation, beliefs about learning, and control mechanisms that are woven through self-regulated learning processes. Within these notions, my studies concentrate on English vocabulary learning.
