My research focuses on the discursively constructed identity of French youtubers. I investigate the ways in which self-presentation is achieved through discursive and pragmatic elements in relation to interpersonal relations: modality, pronoun use, and the realisation of typified speech acts. The analysis involves both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The research is also the subject of my lessons, thus my aim is to develop students' awareness.
