In multilingualism research, we examine the attitudes speakers have towards their individual language repertoires and the languages and speakers in their environment, as well as their cultural elements. We explore the positive and negative emotions, behavioral patterns associated with different languages and speakers, how individuals define their own and others' multilingualism, what knowledge they possess about languages and speakers, and how multilingualism influences the components of their identity.

Exploring which indigenous and minority and foreign languages are present in society's built and public spaces, in educational, cultural and public service institutions, in what discursive functions, at what linguistic levels and in what proportions.
