Main research areas
My research focuses on the Kovács method. The Kovács Method as a solution for music and students with special educational needs (SNI). This area of research is of growing interest to me, as music is a special tool for developing learning and social skills. My research focuses on how music education can contribute to the cognitive, emotional and social development of students with SNI. I study how movement, rhythm and the structure of music can support attentional and memory functions, the development of which is particularly important for students with ADHD or learning disabilities. In addition, the social and creative environment of music sessions can also have a positive impact on self-confidence, self-expression and social integration, which can be significant for students with autism spectrum disorder.
