Main research areas
My main research area is the impact of video games on language learners' motivation, attitudes and autonomy. I also investigate language teachers' attitudes and practices towards the use of video games in language learning.
My research interest revolves around English-medium instruction (EMI) and bilingual education in Hungary, with a multifaceted approach. I aim to delve into the motivations and expectations of students engaging in EMI, considering their diverse sociocultural backgrounds. In addition to exploring the institutional challenges, I also focus on the development of appropriate teaching materials for effective bilingual education Additionally, I am intrigued by the role of teacher education in preparing instructors for this context, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and pedagogical insights.
