My research deals with the connection between the beginning of German sexology and the English literary history of sexuality at the fin de siècle. In the beginning, my focus was on works by Oscar Wilde, which has shifted to the life and oeuvre of Eric Stenbock and Edward Prime-Stevenson. I am also interested in Gothic literature, Victorian literary and cultural history, and “literary music.”
