The focus of my research is on theoretical and practical aspects of language mediation. My main research field within Translation Studies are journalistic translation and specialized translation in various fields, mainly between German and Hungarian. My work in journalistic translation is based on printed journalistic texts in the target language which can be traced back to the source language, i. e. which are obviously the result of translation, although to a variable extent.
