My main researchfield covers the foreign policy of the Hungarian Kingdom in the 13th century, specifically its relations with the Kingdom of Bohemia and the Duchy of Austria, just as the relations of the latter two countries. My analyse approaches the Central-European region from a diplomatic, dinastic and political asprect. In my research, I place great emphasis on narrative sources, with particular regard to the yearbook literature (annales) produced in Austrian territories. Among the auxiliary sciences of history, I also conduct research in sphragistics, primarily in relation to the use of seals in the Middle Ages.
