In my research, I am examining the prose of Károly Pap. I am mainly interested in how the questions of Jewish heritage and identities are thematised and shown in the narratives of his works. The broader context of my research is the question of modern Hungarian-Jewish literature and Jewish identity model(s) represented in Hungarian literary pieces, mainly between the turn of the century and the second world war.
