My main research interest is onomastics (i.e., the study of the various aspects of proper names), especially anthroponomastics (i.e., the study of personal names), the various fields of applied onomastics, and the questions of general onomastics. I work in the framework of dimensional linguistics, i.e., studying proper names, naming and name use as temporally, geographically, socially and culturally determined phenomena.
