I am mainly involved in the development and analysis of corpora of Hungarian literary texts. The focus of my research is the development of the ELTE Poetry Corpus and the quantitative, corpus linguistic analysis of the corpus. The development work consists mainly of adding additional texts to the corpus, writing scripts to automatically recognize poetic features related to sound devices (meter, rhythm, rhyme, alliteration), and creating tools for querying the data in the corpus. My investigations on the corpus aim to explore lexical, grammatical, and metrical patterns in Hungarian canonical poetry.
