In my main research areas (in modern and contemporary art, art theory and visual culture studies) I primarily focus on the relationship between visuality and conceptuality (conceptual fine art, conceptual design, conceptual fashion design), as well as the (changing) conditions under which different types of visual items (paintings, media art works, new media art works, photographs, memes, MI images, etc.) become culturally meaningful and significant.

My reseach focuses on the contemporary ethical debates around the different practices of technologically created and generated images before and after the post-photographic turn.
