My primary research field is the baroque art in Hungary in the 17. and 18. centuries (architecture, sculpture, and painting). Mainly topic is the examination, interpretation of architecture and interiors. Examination of the archive materials and the building itself. Man can not forget, that the history of an art piece covers not only one period; the knowledge of correlations is necessary.

The architectural shapes have special meanings in the Middle Ages and in the modern period. These meanings modify and influence the history, using of the buildings. This content disappeared in the 19. century. The architectural iconology examines the meaning of the architectural forms.
