Main research areas
Interpreting studies
My main areas of interest are the pedagogy of interpreting and remote interpreting. I often focus on controversial subjects, comparing the basic principles appearing in the scientific literature to the actual practices observed on the market. The Covid-19 pandemic shed a new light on and confirmed some of my earlier conclusions about remote interpreting and the distant teaching of interpreting and opened some completely new and inspiring paths for the research in this area.
