Within ancient metaphysics, I focus on Plato, Aristotle and Plotinus. My research extends to the relationship between semantics and metaphysics, the concept of being, argumentative strategies in metaphysics, and philosophical theology.

Within ancient ethics, I focus on Plato, Aristotle, the Stoics, and the Neoplatonists. My research extends to the history of the concepts of the will and freedom, to ancient accounts of practical rationality, and to moral psychology.
