Main research areas
Chinese Buddhism, Mahayana Buddhism
My main research area is Chinese Buddhism. My research focuses on Mahayana Buddhism, a major branch of Buddhism with a rich tradition in China. I am particularly interested in the history and philosophy of the Huayan school of Chinese Buddhism, which flourished in the Middle Ages. The Huayan school is an integral part of Mahayana Buddhism and emphasises the complexity of the universe and the interactions between all beings. Through my research, I would like to contribute to a deeper understanding of Chinese Buddhism and promote dialogue between different religious and philosophical schools of thought.
