Hungarian film history between 1931 and 1945

My research field is the history of Hungarian cinema between 1931 and 1945, including the history of institutions and film production, genres and thematic trends, and the interactions between cinema, society and popular culture. Special focus is given to the reserach of the representation and participation of women in contemporary film culture.
