In my research, I currently focus primarily on foreign language learners' motivation. I aim to specifically examine the impact of socioeconomic background on language learning motivation, as learners from similar backgrounds are often not, or less included in the literature. Naturally, this could also influence the theories currently used in the field. My present research centers on rural Hungarian language learners, but I consider it important to include additional, previously underexamined or overlooked populations in the future.
