My main field of research is the technological analysis of pottery vessels, with particular focus on forming and surface treatment. Technological approaches make it possible not only to reconstruct past techniques but also, to reconstruct social networks based on personal connections.

My research focuses on the Copper Age of the Carpathian Basin, especially the Early and Middle Copper Age. In this framework, I have studied finds from numerous settlements and burials both in Transdanubia, in the Great Hungarian Plain, and in Budapest Region.
