My research areas: the history of 19th-20th-century Hungarian drawing and graphic arts, as well as its contemporary trends; the history and contemporary trends of modern Hungarian book illustration and book art; the figurative and realistic tendencies of Hungarian postwar painting; the history of higher Hungarian art education (the history of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts and its predecessor institutions).
