My research concerns the contrastive linguistics, I investigate the German and Hungarian tense systems, with special attention to the future tenses on the basis of different texttypes. Regarding the future tenses German and Hungarian have similarities: Both languages have an analytic tense to describe a future event, furthermore, in both languages the present tense may refer to the future as well. My aims in this respect are the description of the similarities and differences of the two tenses and the analysis of them on the basis of concrete examples.

My research concerns the conceptual spoken language; I deal with the linguistic analysis of spoken language and the language of internet texts. The spoken language and the communication through the internet are relevant and up-to-date areas in scientific research. I study the specific characteristics of these communication forms, on the other hand, specific questions of my research concern the connection between the conceptuality of texts and the usage of future tenses.c

In my research I investigate the didactic aspects of the contrastive analysis of future tenses and the role of the specific characteristics of conceptual spoken language in teaching. My aims in this respect are to develop and represent didactic methods that integrate the results of the actual linguistic research and the corpus-based studies regarding the tenses.
