The genres and works of Italian religious or devotional literature, with particular attention to Franciscan literature, hagiography and medieval mysticism and biblical paraphrases, as well as religious poetry and sacra rappresentazione.
Italian literary translation of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance (volgarizzamenti), with particular reference to the Italian versions of mystical, contemplative works (Miroir des simples ames, Meditationes vitae Christi).
History of the cultural-religious relations between the Hungarian Kingdom and the Italian states during the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Period. With a special attention to the Italian cult of Hungarian and Central European saints, and on the comparative analysis of the vernacular literacy of female religious communities in Italy and in Hungary.
