One of my main fields of interest is 19-20th century continental philosophy, especially the work of Heidegger, Jaspers, Gadamer and Hannah Arendt. In addition, I'm working on the critical theory of György Lukács and the Frankfurt School, and I'm also doing research on the philosophy of culture and of social sciences. In political philosophy, my interests lie in the problems of national identity, the republican tradition and communitarist thought, and I'm working on the realist tradition of political thought (especially Carl Schmitt), too.
