My primary research interest lies in the labour market position of Hungarian women, with particular attention to the phenomenon of labour market discrimination and the long-term effects of childbirth and motherhood. I seek to explore the social, economic, and legal factors that influence women's labour market opportunities, with a specific focus on mapping the disadvantages associated with motherhood—especially the challenges faced by women returning to the workforce after having young children—and the impact of employer attitudes and institutional practices.
