Within the field of teacher training, I am interested in the methodology of the 21st century classroom, including the use of blended learning and virtual learning platforms. Another focus is on teachers' developemnt through the course of their training and during their teaching practice, with a particular emphasis on their cognitive development. At the moment I have been researching teacher trainees' thinking about their own career paths and how whether see themselves as future professionals or not. Connected to this are the challenges that new teachers face and how this impacts their thinking.
