In my research, I compare Finnish and Hungarian literature, focusing on the concept of national literature. I concentrate on two main areas: literary historiography and literature education. By examining the discourse of literary historiography, national core curricala and textbooks at the secondary school level, I investigate transnational, transcultural, and translingual perspectives.
