I am researching post-World War II Slovenian novel, with particular reference to narratological issues. The subject of my research is also the search for parallels with contemporary Hungarian novel. In addition, I constantly monitor the reception of Slovenian literature in Hungary and the presence and reception of Hungarian literature in Slovenia. I have long been interested in and preoccupied with translation analysis and translation criticism, including the issue of translatability, with a focus on differences among languages and cultures.
