Ábel Tamás is Senior Lecturer at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Budapest, and a member of the Research Group for General Literary Studies. His work engages with hermeneutics, reception studies, media theory, and cultural studies. He was one of the editors of the Handbook of Media and Cultural Studies (Ráció, 2018), a pioneering volume in the Hungarian context that provides a comprehensive introduction to the key paradigms, concepts, and authors of the field.
