The relation of literature and press
In the course of my research, I examine the connection points between literature and the media, with special emphasis on the media theory works of Hans-Magnus Enzensberger, resp. through a comparative analysis of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and der Spiegel. I focus on the research of the history of the Hungarian-language Hungarian press between the two world wars, and on the history of Hungarian-language civilian newspapers in Hungary.
The cultural-historical relations between the German-speaking countries and Hungary
I deal with the cultural-historical relations between the German-speaking countries and Hungary, including: The settlement of Germans in Hungary in the 18th century; Austrian and German press relations in 19-20. century; European population movements and the deportation of Germans in 1946-47; history of the FRG and the GDR from 1949 to 1990; Hungarian-German relations in the 20th century; processing and documenting the history of German-Hungarian relations between 1918 and 1933.
Cultural diplomacy theory and practice

The program provides a foundation in International Relations, and Cultural Diplomacy, using a historical and case study approach in the framework of international relations theory and political science. The degree focuses on several academic disciplines related to International Relations, International Economics, International Communications, Management and Leadership, with a particular emphasis on Cultural Diplomacy and its historical and contemporary application in the public sector, private sector and civil society.The main priority of the is to provide students with a solid foundation and understanding of the history and contemporary practice of Cultural Diplomacy, as well as future applications of the field.
