Anthropological research of national culture primarily concerns how we create an image of ourselves and how others create an image of us. What are the main milestones of the nationalization of space and time, the main areas of the nationalization of culture.

Approaching the city primarily from the point of view of the people who live in it, from the bottom view, is the essence of the micro-anthropological turn. My research follows this direction.

In the field of Hungarian family and youth research, I am primarily looking for answers to the motivation and practice of young people starting a family, how they organize their lives, etc.

From the middle of the 20th century, the Hungarian countryside was affected by a pervasive change in the fields of economy, lifestyle, society and culture. I am examining sub-areas of this process.
