In the framework of my research on circus history I address the historical imagery of circus spectacles (pantomimes, mimodramas).

The research adresses the literary representations of the metropolis, primarily in prose fictions from Hungarian and world literature of the 20th and the 21st centuries.

The subject of the research covers theories of the critical approach to cultural and artistic works, both in the framework of the tradition of German Kulturwissenschaften and British Cultural Studies.
